Hawthorn Cottage

Hawthorn Cottage is a detached three-bedroom cottage in St Teath, a village 3 miles north of Camelford on the rolling farmland between the north Cornwall coast and Bodmin Moor. The cottage has an open fire and sits within walking distance of the village pub, cafe, and post office - all roughly 0.1 miles away.

The ground floor is arranged as an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area, and sitting area centred on a woodburning stove. The kitchen includes an oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer, dishwasher, and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine. Two king-size bedrooms and a single with trundle bed are spread across two floors, with a ground-floor bathroom (bath, shower over) and a first-floor shower room with walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Wi-Fi and two TVs - the lounge TV has a Firestick - are provided.

Outside, an enclosed split-level garden has furniture for sitting out. Parking is in the village square on a first-come basis. Tregardock Beach, a remote north coast beach with dramatic rock formations and surf, is 4.1km away. Port Gaverne, a sheltered cove near Port Isaac with calm water and rock pools, is 6km.

St Teath sits at a crossroads between the coast and the moor. Port Isaac is about 5 miles northwest, Tintagel 5 miles northeast, and the open moorland around Rough Tor and Brown Willy starts roughly 4 miles south. The Camel Trail at Camelford connects down to Padstow.
