Harbour Master's House sits directly on the harbour wall in Portreath, a beach village on Cornwall's north coast 4 miles from Redruth. The frontline position gives unobstructed views across the harbour and Portreath Beach, with fishing boats working the water directly below.

The house has four bedrooms across three floors, sleeping eight. The ground floor has a double bedroom with large sit-in windows facing the sea and a twin room (convertible to super-king) overlooking the harbour, each with an en-suite. Upstairs, a flexible third bedroom with harbour views has an en-suite shower room, and the top-floor master bedroom has a king-size bed, en-suite shower room and two private balconies - one facing the harbour, one looking out to sea. The open-plan living area on the first floor has a well-equipped kitchen with American-style fridge/freezer, double electric oven and dishwasher, a dining table seating eight, and a sitting room with a wood-burning stove and bi-folding doors to a sea-facing terrace.

The property has a paved terrace for outdoor dining and a BBQ. Dogs are welcome. Off-road parking is available.

Portreath Beach is 300 metres away - a sandy, lifeguarded beach with reliable Atlantic surf and a surf school. Godrevy Beach, 7.9 km east, is a wide National Trust beach with views of the lighthouse that inspired Virginia Woolf. Portreath marks one end of the Coast to Coast mineral tramway cycle route to Devoran.
