Crantock Beach is 1.2km south - a dune-backed alternative to Fistral, calmer in summer and dog-friendly year-round. Towan Beach and Newquay harbour are 1.6km east. Shops and pubs sit within a mile, and Cornwall Airport Newquay is a short drive for guests flying in.

Best for friends or two couples on surf trips who need practical board storage and ground-floor convenience. Less good for those wanting sea views, a garden, or a dog-friendly property.
