Farlands

Farlands is a five-bedroom house in Trebetherick, on the north Cornwall coast between Rock and Polzeath. The property sleeps 12 across a mix of super king-size doubles, twins, and a ground-floor quad room with four single beds - a practical layout for multi-generational family groups.

Three of the five bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with baths. Additional ground-floor facilities include a bathroom, a separate shower room, and a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, and two dishwashers. The first-floor sitting room and a separate playroom give different age groups their own space. The kitchen has a freestanding double oven, hob, microwave, and American-style fridge/freezer. WiFi and a TV with DVD player are provided.

The garden is lawned with a patio, outdoor furniture, a balcony, and an outside shower - useful after beach trips. Ample off-road parking accommodates multiple vehicles. Daymer Bay Beach, a sheltered sandy estuary beach with calm shallow water, is 0.6km away. Greenaway Beach, a quiet sandy cove with rock pools, is 0.9km along the coast path.

Trebetherick sits on the Camel Estuary opposite Padstow, reachable by water taxi from nearby Rock. The church of St Enodoc, where John Betjeman is buried, is a 10-minute walk through the dunes from Daymer Bay. Two dogs are welcome by arrangement and must stay on the ground floor.
