Faraway Cottage

Faraway Cottage is a two-bedroom property near the hamlet of Porthgwarra, on the Penwith peninsula close to Land's End. The cottage sits in one of the quieter corners of far west Cornwall, primarily visited by walkers, divers, and birdwatchers drawn to this exposed stretch of coastline.

The cottage has a king-size bedroom and a twin, sleeping four. A ground-floor shower room and an upstairs bathroom with bath provide the wet rooms. The sitting room has a woodburning stove, and the kitchen is equipped with electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. A Smart TV with Netflix, WiFi, books, and games are included. An EV charging point is available for electric vehicles.

Outside, a rear garden with lawn and picnic bench faces open countryside. Ample off-road parking is provided. Nanjizal Beach - a remote cove with the Song of the Sea rock arch, reached on foot via the Coast Path - is 0.8km away. Porthgwarra Beach, a rocky cove with clear water for snorkelling and a seasonal cafe, lies 1.8km south.

The nearest pub is about 2 miles away and the nearest shop 3 miles. Porthcurno, home to the Minack Theatre and the telegraph museum, is roughly 2km east along the cliff path. One well-behaved dog is welcome at an additional charge.
