The position on the headland below Pendennis Castle puts the town centre, harbour, and three of Falmouth's beaches within walking distance - a practical advantage for a group of four who want to cover the town on foot.

Inside, the apartment has two bedrooms - one king-size and one twin - sleeping four across one bathroom. The shower room has a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Gyllyngvase Beach - Falmouth's Blue Flag sandy beach with lifeguards from May and a seafront cafe - is 1km south along the coast path. Swanpool Beach, a sheltered south-facing bay with a freshwater lagoon behind it, is 1.8km.

Falmouth's National Maritime Museum Cornwall, independent restaurants along Arwenack Street, and the harbour-front pubs are all a 10-minute walk. Ferries cross to St Mawes and the Roseland from the Prince of Wales Pier. The town's Sea Shanty Festival draws several thousand visitors each June.
