Dragonfly Cottage

Dragonfly Cottage is a two-bedroom dog-friendly cottage on Fore Street in St Stephen, a village roughly 4 miles west of St Austell. The property has an enclosed rear garden and sits within 100 metres of the village shop, making everyday supplies easy to reach on foot.

Inside, the ground floor has a kitchen, a dining room with an electric stove-effect fire, and a sitting room. A bathroom with bath and shower over serves both bedrooms - one super-king-size (convertible to twin) and one single with a pull-out trundle bed. A washing machine and WiFi are included.

The enclosed rear garden has a gravelled seating area with outdoor furniture. There is no on-site parking, but a free public car park sits almost directly opposite the cottage. Dogs are welcome - up to three well-behaved dogs at a charge of 20 pounds per pet per week. A pub is 0.3 miles from the front door.

St Stephen provides a quiet base for exploring the south coast. Porthpean Beach, a sheltered sandy cove with RNLI lifeguard cover and rock pools at low tide, is 9.2 km away. Charlestown Beach - known for its Georgian harbour and tall ships - is 9.7 km. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are both within a short drive.
