The inverted arrangement - bedrooms on the ground floor, living areas above - makes the most of the rural position. The original stone walls are retained in the conversion. Parking is included on the gravelled courtyard.

Outside, the barn has its own sheltered, gated grassy garden. Trevaunance Cove at St Agnes is the nearest beach at 4.5 km, with Trevellas Cove 4.9 km and Portreath Beach 6.1 km away. Porthtowan is about 1.5 miles by road, or roughly a 30-minute walk by footpath.

Mount Hawke village is about half a mile away with a few small shops and a post office. St Agnes - a former tin-mining village with independent shops, galleries, cafes and the Taphouse pub - is about 3 miles along the road. Truro is 15 minutes by car, and the A30 gives direct access west toward Penzance and St Ives or east to the Eden Project. The Wheal Coates engine house and Chapel Porth beach are both within easy reach along the coast path. Prices start from 539 per week.
