Coastal Lookout

Book a stay at this fabulous, first-floor apartment for friends or families and make the most of a private lane that leads you straight to Harlyn Bay Beach, one of the best family beaches in Cornwall. Here, you can swim, surf, kayak and explore the stream and rock pools, or head out on the coastal path – perhaps west around Mother Ivy’s Bay to the Trevose Headland or east to Trevone Bay, another superb beach (both around 2 miles away). For a change of scene, vibrant Padstow is just 3 miles away, full of excellent places to eat, from fish and chips to fine dining, as well as intriguing shops and a colourful working harbour. Golfers can tee off at the local club just a mile from the apartment, there’s an indoor climbing centre 4.5 miles away, or you could hire bikes and cycle the Camel Trail from Padstow to Wadebridge.

Take the stairs up to the first floor and enter your welcoming apartment. The airy lounge, with a large bay window, has original Ercol furniture, classically comfortable, providing a cosy place to relax after a day in the great outdoors. There’s a Smart TV too, so you can stream a movie or favourite box set whenever you wish. Move through to the kitchen/diner, which is equipped with everything necessary for holiday cooking, including a microwave and a dishwasher. The sea views from the dining table are superb, or why not open the balcony doors and let the fresh air in? When you’re ready for a good night’s sleep, two relaxing bedrooms are found on the same level, the king-size having the benefit of an en-suite shower room. Completing the interior is a family bathroom.

The private balcony that leads off the kitchen/diner is a wonderful place to sit for morning coffee or a sundowner whilst enjoying the far-reaching sea views. The site also has an extensive, shared garden, with a lawn surrounded by mature trees and shrubs, where there is further seating, tables, and sun loungers. Little ones will love the shared children’s play area too. Private parking for one car is provided in the car park.
