This wooden lodge makes a perfect couple’s retreat in the heart of the Cornish countryside. It is situated half a mile from the village of Ponsanooth in a pretty valley along a short private drive. It’s a tranquil location but also just a short distance from the village, either by car, footpath or a bus that stops close to the property gate. The village has a useful shop, which also provides hot meals and light lunches, and is only a short distance from many friendly local pubs. Guests can enjoy local walks from the doorstep, such as exploring the beautiful waterfalls of Kennall Vale Nature Reserve. The Bissoe Trail is also within easy reach and runs from Devoran to Portreath on the north coast. The lively coastal town of Falmouth is 6 miles away and has much to offer visitors. The town is known for its arts and music scene, with plenty of galleries and shops to browse and live music regularly playing in its bars and pubs. The town has a fascinating maritime history and four beaches offering ample opportunities for water sports and bucket and spade days. Truro is 7 miles inland and is an attractive cathedral city packed with independent shops and great restaurants.

The cabin offers peace and tranquillity amidst serene surroundings. It is laid out all on one level with lovely countryside views from the open-plan living area. There is a fully fitted compact kitchen and a bistro table and chairs set up alongside the French doors for dining with a view. There’s comfortable seating are also arranged to take in the vistas. The double bedroom is a restful place where you’re sure to have a peaceful night's sleep. Adjacent is a stylish shower room featuring a walk-in shower and a heated towel rail.

Outside there is a small, enclosed area in front of the French doors and another wooden deck just across the track overlooking the valley. This is set up with a table and chairs and is a lovely spot for enjoying your meals in the fresh air.  There is a utility room attached to the property with a freezer, washing machine and storage space for bicycles or beach equipment, and there is also an outdoor washing line.
