Cinders Loft

Cinders Loft is a four-bedroom loft conversion on Bridge Road in Illogan village, near Redruth in mid-Cornwall. The cottage sleeps eight across two bathrooms, with a multi-level terraced garden and BBQ for outdoor use. Dogs are welcome.

Portreath Beach is 2.5km to the west - a sandy bay with a Victorian harbour wall that shelters the southern end from south-westerly swell, making the water calmer than many exposed north Cornwall beaches. Lifeguard cover runs in summer. Trevaunance Cove near St Agnes is 8.9km along the coast, with its own small harbour and a surf school operating from the beach. Godrevy Beach - known for its lighthouse and the seal colony on the offshore island - is 9.4km north-west.

Best for families or friend groups wanting a dog-friendly house with easy access to the north Cornwall surf beaches. Less good for couples or those seeking a rural retreat - Bridge Road is a village street setting.
