Chy An Nor

Chy An Nor is a two-bedroom cottage for 4 in a row of whitewashed cottages along the lane down to Looe harbour, in West Looe. The cottage has been renovated throughout, with harbour and sea views over the rooftops from the master bedroom, and a reserved parking space within 150 yards.

Inside, a stable door opens into an open-plan kitchen and diner fitted with electric hob and oven, fridge, dishwasher and washer-dryer. A couple of steps lead up to the living room with two sofas and an LCD TV. The family bathroom is accessed from the living room. Upstairs, the double bedroom has a 4ft 6in bed, fitted wardrobe, handbasin and electric shower cubicle with harbour views, and the twin bedroom has two single beds.

Outside, a small rear courtyard accessed from the living room is useful for storing beach gear. Parking is in a nearby car park by permit. Dogs are welcome and wifi runs throughout. A welcome tray is left on arrival.

West Looe has a quieter feel than East Looe - a walk along the quayside and over the bridge brings you to the shops, pubs and restaurants of East Looe, or the passenger ferry crosses between the two. Looe has a sandy beach sheltered by the Banjo pier, boat trips to Looe Island, and the Looe Valley Line railway up to Liskeard for mainline services.
