Cherrywood Manor is a three-bedroom maisonette spread over two floors in Bodmin town centre, on Pound Lane. The cottage sleeps six and sits within walking distance of shops, pubs and the start of the Camel Trail - the 11.5-mile cycling and walking route to Padstow.

Inside, the open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting room occupies the main living space. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Two double bedrooms and a bunk room provide the sleeping accommodation, with a first-floor bathroom featuring an L-shaped bath with shower over. WiFi is included.

A private rear courtyard has outdoor furniture, a BBQ and storage space. Private parking is available on site. Carlyon Bay is 15.2 km to the south and Port Gaverne Beach 15.5 km to the north - both accessible within about 25 minutes by car.

Bodmin is Cornwall's former county town, sitting on the western edge of Bodmin Moor. The Bodmin and Wenford Railway runs steam services from Bodmin General, and Lanhydrock House (National Trust) is 2.5 miles south-east. The town's central position between the north and south coasts makes it practical for reaching Padstow, Fowey and the A30 corridor.

Best for groups of up to six wanting a practical, centrally located base to cover the whole county. Less good for beach-focused holidays - Carlyon Bay is the nearest sand at 15.2km, and this is very much a town property.
