Surfboard storage is provided on site - relevant given that Great Western Beach sits below the cliffs at the end of the road, with Tolcarne Beach a 400-metre walk and Towan a further 100 metres beyond that.

Off-road parking is included. Newquay railway station is within walking distance for car-free arrivals - useful during the summer when road traffic in the town centre slows considerably. The town's shops, cafes, and surf hire outlets on Fore Street are a few minutes on foot. Friday changeover.
