The apartment has two bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine. Underfloor heating runs throughout, which makes it a practical choice outside peak summer. The balcony faces the front of the building.

Fistral is Cornwall's best-known surf beach - long, exposed to Atlantic swells, with multiple surf schools and RNLI lifeguards from May to September. Boardmasters festival takes over the headland each August. Newquay town centre, with its seafront restaurants, takeaways, and nightlife, is a 10-minute walk east. Towan Beach is 1.3km further along the cliff path. Crantock, a calmer family beach across the Gannel estuary, is 1.5km south.

Newquay has more surf schools operating from Fistral than anywhere else in the UK - Escape Surf School and Reef Surf School both run from the beach car park. The Headland Hotel sits on the headland above the north end of the beach, with its terrace cafe open to non-residents.

Best for: surfers, surf-watchers, and pairs or small families who want to be close to Fistral without paying for a sea-facing room. Less good for: guests wanting quiet surroundings in peak summer - Fistral gets very busy from July to August, and Esplanade Road reflects that.
