Badger Cottage

Badger Cottage is a 2-bedroom cottage on a 55-acre working farm near Mawgan-in-Meneage, south of Helston on the Lizard peninsula. The property sleeps 4 and comes with a wood burner in the sitting room - a solid draw on colder evenings in this rural part of Cornwall.

The cottage has one double bedroom and one room with 3-foot bunk beds, making it well-suited to a family with younger children. A shower room with shower, basin, and WC serves both bedrooms. The kitchen includes a microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. A cot and highchair are available on request.

Outside, an enclosed courtyard garden connects to a shared children's play area and a games cabin on the farm grounds. Off-road parking fits two cars. The farm uses a private water supply that is tested regularly.

Helford Passage Beach - a mixed sand-and-shingle shore on the Helford River with the Ferryboat Inn nearby - is 3.8 km away. Ponsence Cove, a remote sandy beach on the eastern Lizard coast, is 4.7 km. The Trelowarren estate, with its cafe, galleries, and woodland walks, is close by. Helston is about six miles north. The cottage can be booked alongside Valley View, Swallow Cottage, and Swift Cottage on the same farm for groups of up to 16.
