Single-storey two-bedroom cottage at Trevore Farm on the outskirts of St Buryan, near Sennen. The no-stairs layout makes it workable for guests with mobility concerns, and the wet room is step-free. Sleeps four. From £588 per week (£147 per person at full occupancy).

The cottage is open-plan: kitchen, dining, and sitting room run together as one room. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher; a washing machine and shared freezer sit in the external utility. The double bedroom and twin share the wet room with shower. WiFi and TV are included. Secure storage for bikes and surfboards is provided - useful for cycling Penwith's quiet lanes or running boards over to the surf. There's no off-street parking at the cottage.

The shared garden has a barbecue and outdoor furniture. Gwynver Beach - a powerful Atlantic surf beach with fewer crowds than its neighbour - is 3.2km away via cliff-path steps. Sennen Cove, with surf hire, RNLI lifeguard cover in summer, and the Beach Restaurant on the sand, is 4.5km west. St Buryan village has a farm shop and pub within 1.7 miles; the Minack Theatre at Porthcurno is around 4 miles south.

Best for couples or a family of four wanting single-storey access and a base for cycling and surfing west Penwith. Less good for dog owners (no pets accepted) or guests needing dedicated parking.
