Contemporary four-bedroom house in the clifftop village of New Polzeath, sleeping eight. Polzeath Beach - the main north Cornwall surf beach with RNLI lifeguards in season - is 500 metres south down the lane, and the National Trust's Pentire Headland is directly to the north.

Sleeping runs across one king, one super-king (zip-link, can split to a twin), and two further twins, with three bathrooms. The open-plan living space opens onto an enclosed garden through bi-fold doors, with a BBQ and a heated outdoor shower for rinsing wetsuits. EV charging on the drive and parking for up to three cars - rare in this village. Dogs welcome (1 dog).

New Polzeath is the smaller, quieter village above Polzeath itself. The Tubestation cafe (a converted Methodist church on Polzeath's main street) and the Surfrider Inn are both within walking distance. The South West Coast Path runs through the village - north 30 minutes to Pentire Point and the Iron Age cliff fort at The Rumps, south to Daymer Bay (1.5 miles) and the dunes around St Enodoc Church. Rock and the Padstow ferry are 3 miles south.

Best for surfing families with an EV, or two couples sharing who want category-leader ratings (5/5 across cleanliness, equipment, comfort and location). Less good for guests after a sea-view from the windows - the property is set back from the cliff edge.
