Inside, one king-size bedroom has an en-suite walk-in shower with a heated towel rail. The second is a twin room served by a separate bathroom with a bath and shower over. The open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area opens onto a private balcony. The kitchen comes with an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, and coffee machine.

Crantock Beach is 1.5km along the coast - a quieter alternative to Fistral, reached on foot via the Gannel estuary path at low tide. Towan Beach in Newquay town centre is 1.3km east. Cornwall Airport Newquay, with direct flights to London, sits 5 miles from the cottage and is useful for short breaks without a long drive down the A30.

Best for surfers and beach-focused couples or small families with one car. Less good for guests who can't manage two flights of stairs - there is no lift, and the second floor is the only access route.
