The cottage covers two bedrooms upstairs and two bathrooms, with the wood burner in the sitting room earning its keep from October onwards. Kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine, and WiFi throughout. Friday changeovers (rather than the more common Saturday). Pricing from £560 per week, rising to £1,129 in school holidays - £140 per couple per week off-peak for a four-sleeper.

The garden is private with off-road parking and farmland beyond. The White Hart Inn, the parish church, and the village shop sit within walking distance. Tintagel Castle is 4 miles north, Port Isaac (the Doc Martin filming village) 4 miles west, and the sandy stretch at Polzeath within 7 miles. Bodmin Moor's Rough Tor walking is 5 miles south-east.

St Teath sits about 3 miles north of Camelford, at a crossroads of lanes linking the A39 coast road with the B3266 toward Bodmin. That central position puts most of north Cornwall within a 20-minute drive, coast one way and moor the other. The village has a medieval church dedicated to St Tetha and a primary school alongside the pub.

Best for couples or small families wanting a quiet inland base for the King Arthur coast with a pub at the end of the lane. Less good for guests wanting a sea view or beachfront access without the car.
