Redruth Mining & Pasty Festival 2026

Redruth Mining & Pasty Festival 2026

19 September 2026 · redruth

community event Free Entry

Redruth Mining & Pasty Festival celebrates Cornwall’s twin legacies - its industrial mining heritage and its most famous food export. The festival typically includes pasty-making competitions, heritage walks around the town’s mining architecture, live music, stalls, and talks about Cornwall’s mining history.

Redruth sits in the heart of the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site. The town’s engine houses, mine buildings, and workers’ terraces tell the story of the tin and copper mining that shaped west Cornwall. The festival brings that history to life while making sure everyone gets a good pasty.

Free to attend. Exact date to be confirmed - typically a Saturday in September.
