Talland Bay

looe

Situated on Cornwall’s south coast, between Looe and Polperro, Talland Bay is a quiet cove formed by two small beaches — Talland Sand and Rotterdam Beach — backed by rocky cliffs and rolling green hills. The calm, clear water suits swimming, kayaking, and snorkelling. Families and water enthusiasts will find the shallow, clean waters to be safe and appealing for swimming, kayaking, and snorkeling.

The pristine, natural surroundings of Talland Bay are one of its most notable aspects. Gorgeous views are provided by the bay as it is backed by rocky cliffs and undulating green hills. The South West Coast Path winds along the cliffs above the beach with good views of the sea and surrounding landscape. These trails link Talland Bay to the charming and historically significant fishing villages of Polperro and Looe.

Talland Bay has a modest parking lot, restrooms for the general public, and two beach cafes that are open seasonally and provide light fare, drinks, and ice cream to enhance the convenience and fun of a day at the beach. In addition, the location is dog-friendly, accepting dogs all year round. Talland Bay is a lovely location for a leisurely day by the sea because of its unique blend of natural beauty, recreational options, and tranquil surroundings.
