Mother's Ivey Bay

padstow

Mother’s Ivey Bay is a serene and attractive beach close to the well-known resort of Padstow on Cornwall’s north coast. Mother’s Ivey Bay is known for its long sandy stretch, shallow calm water, and relative quiet — a beach with minimal development that keeps its natural character. The Atlantic Ocean’s turquoise waters may be seen along the beach, which is a lengthy stretch of golden sand. In particular, the shallow and tranquil waters are great for families, providing a secure play area for kids.

Mother’s Ivey Bay is located close to the Trevose Headland, the site of the famous Trevose Head Lighthouse, and is a part of the Trevose Head Heritage Coast. The lighthouse at Trevose Head is visible from the beach and provides a focal point for photography along this stretch of coast. The beach’s natural beauty and calm have been preserved due to its relative lack of development. It is recommended that guests bring their own supplies because there are not many facilities. There is a parking lot close by, and it is just a short stroll from there to the beach.

The South West Coast Path runs along the cliffs above Mother’s Ivey Bay with wide views of the Trevose headland and the north coast. Longer exploration of this stretch of north Cornwall is made possible by the path that links the beach to other neighboring sights including Harlyn Bay and Constantine Bay.
