Cawsand Beach
Located in the village of Cawsand on the Rame Peninsula in southeast Cornwall, this sand and pebble beach sits in a sheltered inlet with views across Plymouth Sound and the surrounding coastline.
Cawsand Beach, with its mix of pebbles and sand, is a great place for a variety of beach sports. Swimming, canoeing, and other water sports are permitted because of the crystal-clear seas and mild waves. There are plenty of facilities at the beach, such as adjacent cafes and stores and public restrooms. Visitors’ safety may be ensured by lifeguards during busy hours.
Nature lovers will find much to enjoy in the various marine and wildlife areas surrounding Cawsand Beach. The adjacent Mount Edgcumbe Country Park is a historic estate with lovely gardens and parkland that is open to visitors. The village of Cawsand itself enhances the experience of visitors with its charming shops, eateries, and pubs.
